Make a Wish Card (Jane's Doodles DT Spotlight)

Hi everyone! :o)

My second post today... If you missed the first one, just scroll down or follow a direct link here.

Today was my turn to be on the spotlight over at Jane's Doodles and I made this CAS (clean and simple), one layer, Make a Wish Card.

To make this card, I used GORGEOUS Jane's Doodles 'Birthday Wishes' stamp set. Bold, large, gorgeous lettering... Love this set so much!! :o)

This card was easy to create. For a card base I used Canson XL Mixed Media Paper.

heat embossed in white a sentiment directly on the card base. I watercolored loosely the front panel using Distress Ink Blueprint Sketch. What a wonderful color! :o)

When I was satisfied with the color, I splattered the card with water, Blueprint Sketch Distress Ink and a white acrylic paint mixed with water. I left it dry on air.

I embellished the card with chipboard stars, which I colored previously with white acrylic paint.

Lastly, I highlighted some white splatters with white pen and my card was finished. :o)

Card dimensions: 101 mm x 133 mm (4" x 5 1/4")
